Gina
Santo Domingo is a strategic advisor in communications and media relations for
the Seattle Police Department. She has over 18 years of experience in the
communications profession. Gina previously served as the deputy communications
director for former Seattle Mayor Paul Schell, and was the former
publisher/editor of the Filipino American Herald. Gina and her husband, Bong,
spend most of their uncommitted time with their two sons, Rafael and Miguel.
Gina has generously donated her time to Pista for over seven years. She was drawn into the organizing committee through community involvement. She is responsible for creating the Pista program guide and the articles that go into it. For Gina, the one-day event makes all of the tedious preparatory details worth it. She loves working with all of the other coordinators, to prepare an enjoyable event for the community to share. "Pista makes the Seattle Filipino community's world go 'round and 'round—and we all have a blast!"
