Cindy
Cawaling is a communications specialist for King County Executive Ron Sims.
Cindy’s day to day responsibilities include writing, editing and disseminating
press releases, coordinating press events and managing correspondence for the
Executive. Cindy is also a writer for the Filipino American Herald.Cindy has been involved with Pista for seven years. As the festival's public information officer, Cindy works to provide information about the festival to a variety of media outlets. In addition, Cindy is also the writer/editor for Pista Review, the festival's official program guide. Cindy enjoys working on the annual festival for the opportunity to work with a group of people who are so invested in giving back to the community and preserving our cultural heritage.
