Gloria Adams

Gloria Adams worked for the Seattle School District for 29 years and was Seattle’s first Filipino American school counselor. She was co-founder of Filipino American Educators of Washington, which creates youth education programs. Gloria has also dedicated over 10 years to the Bataan-Corregidor Survivors’ Association to gain old-age pension benefits for WWII Veterans living in the Philippines. Gloria has been involved with Pista since its inception. Her leadership on the Education Committee provides Filipino Americans with the opportunity to learn more about their cultural heritage.
